CHILDREN AND YOUTH
The District Assembly Planning Team is organizing special programs designed to enrich the assembly experience for families with children. Half-hour orientation meetings will be held early Friday evening. Children/Youth MUST be pre-registered in order to participate. Get a discount with registration by April 3 ($125) vs. by April 26 ($150).
Pre-school (Ages 1-4) religious exploration and child care will be available Friday evening, all day Saturday, and on Sunday morning to allow parents/sponsors to attend assembly functions. Parents pick up children for meals (lunch & dinner).
The Children’s Program is designed for elementary school children (K - 5th grade). The program from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday includes field trips to engaging and educational venues in downtown Anchorage, games and picnic in downtown area parks, and fun activities within the hotel.
The Youth Program is designed for pre-teen/teen ages.
•Junior High (6th - 8th grade) — 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday — includes a day of exploring Anchorage with visits to downtown attractions and a bike or hike excursion with picnic lunch. Depending on weather, several other activities in the hotel and around downtown are planned.
