University Unitarian Church's eighth annual social justice mini-con for PNWD UU Youth is focused on FOOD. "CON-Nom-Nom: A Free and Responsible Search for Dinner" will feature workshops and action projects on slow food, healthy food, local food, sustainable food production, food distribution and much, much more!

Participants in this interactive workshop will learn to recognize emerging conflict, gain a basic understanding of conflict dynamics, identify their own conflict response styles, and practice a model for transforming difficult conversations into learning conversations to support healthy communications in our congregations.
Workshop presenters are Dr. Kristin Guest and Marilyn Warner, volunteer consultants with the PNWD Healthy Congregations Team.
This workshop will benefit all congregational leaders, and other UUs interested in developing healthy communications in interpersonal and group relationships.
Cost is $10 per person, with a maximum of $50 per congregation. The fee covers workshop costs, material, beverages and refreshments.
