DISTRICT JOB OPENINGS

If your congregation has a job opening that you would like us to post, submit a brief description of the position to the district office. Include congregation name, position title, and contact person with phone number and email address. We encourage you to post the full position description on your website. Send us the URL and we'll link to it in the ad. 

Opportunities in the UU community beyond PNWD are posted on the UUA website. 

Ministerial positions:
Those positions that are at least 3/4-time may be found on the UUA Settlement System (requires secure log-in; contact transitions@uua.org for details). Open positions include:
  • Anchorage UU Fellowship (AK) - full-time settlement
  • UU Church of the Palouse (Moscow, ID) - full-time settlement
  • Shoreline UU Church (Shoreline, WA) - full-time settlement

Seeking Children and Youth Program Director - Eastrose Fellowship UU:
Half-time position available for liberal east Multnomah County church. Twenty hours per week flextime, and must be available to work most Sunday mornings. Annual salary around $16,130 plus some benefits. Qualifications include experience in teaching, program development, administration, and family support, as well as agreement with the principles and purposes of our Unitarian Universalist faith.

Pursuit of religious education credentialing a plus. Join a creative and energetic team of dedicated volunteers and staff. Giving Coordinator - University Unitarian Chuch:
University Unitarian Church, Seattle, WA, is adding a half-time administrative staff position for the new role of Giving Coordinator for the church community. UUC's expectation is that the Giving Coordinator will craft and implement campaigns that will strengthen the church’s near- and long-term funding through the financial gifts of our members and friends. The Giving Coordinator will partner extensively with our ministers, lay leaders and executive staff members in the pursuit of his or her objectives. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, two or more years of work experience in a church or other not-for-profit organization, and proven results in fundraising and financial development.
