5/7/2012	Educating Your Congregation on Safety Registration online. 7 pm Pacific Standard Time - 8 pm Mountain Time Summary: There is a lot the Safety Team will be learning as they set the safety agenda in the congregation. How best can we communicate with the congregation? How can we inspire creative problem solving and increasing awareness instead of provoking anxiety? Suggestions for sample newsletter articles, blog posts and a lay-led worship service will be offered. Facilitator: Barbara Cornell has been a Safe Congregations Consultant for the PNWD since 2007. She earned her Master of Divinity from Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry in 2008 and is a candidate for ministry. 5/10/2012	Delegate Certifications Due for District Assembly Congregations intending to have delegate representation at the May 18-20 District Assembly must submit their online Delegate Certification Forms by today. Details and the online link will be distributed to congregational presidents between March 20 and 26.
5/10/2012	District Assembly Advance Registration Closes District Assembly registration ~~closes April 26~~ extended through May 10 for advance adult registrations. On-site registration (except for Children and Youth) will be available May 18 and 19 in Anchorage. Register online through ~~April 26~~ May 10.
5/16/2012 5/25/2012	PNWD Office Open Limited Hours Due to District Assembly in Anchorage and extended Alaska travels, the PNWD Office will be closed May 17-25. 5/18/2012 5/20/2012	District Assembly Join us in Anchorage for our first District Assembly in Alaska! Our theme is "Carry the Flame." This event will include a celebration of PNWD's 50th Anniversary. (We were incorporated November 12, 1962.) Keynote speakers will be Gini Courter, UUA Moderator, and the Rev.
